We are currently working with an ambitious MGA who have shown some impressive growth over the last few years and who are on an incredible business journey. They are keen to speak to those with Commercial Property based Underwriting experience who would like to join them on this journey, as they launch a new office in Leeds City centre. As such they are keen to hear from people with a wide range of household underwriting experience



You will handle new, existing and renewal Property business via multi product and multi distribution channels including e-trade, sub coverholder and open market brokers. They are looking for underwriters who understand the need to trade with their brokers and provide a first-class service at all times



Your role will be to underwrite the full range of the companies household insurance products (mostly non-standard risks) from all distributions, making sure you achieve both new business and renewals GWP income targets



To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 1 years plus Commercia Property underwriting experience, gained in an MGA or Insurer or Lloyds syndicate and already have your Cert



You will also need to possess a friendly professional demeanour with the ability to excel in a trading underwriting environment. 



Benefits include Life insurance 3x salary, 25 days holiday plus bank hols, Discretionary annual performance bonus, Pension – they contribute 5% on the basis you contribute 2.5% and Private medical care (after 12 months service)



Salary on offer is £28-45k depending on experience which reflects the varying experience they will consider, as they have a number of roles available. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with hybrid working and 2 days a week in the office
