Care Assistant for a young gentleman P/T@ £12.40/hr in Leeds - #1659166

I’m looking for a PA to support me. I’m 32 years old, and I have cerebral palsy and learning difficulties.

I get anxious sometimes and prefer not to have my routine changed if possible. I like to go out on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons only, from 1pm to 3/4pm. I enjoy going to the cinema, eating out, and doing my own shopping, so your own car is needed. I have a blue badge for parking. I also like to collect my own tea on Wednesdays and bring it home on my way back.

I enjoy going into Leeds city centre to walk around and do my shopping. I’m okay with crowds but not in overcrowded places. I find it difficult moving around due to my balance, so I will need your support by linking into your arm.

I must use a lift while in shops, as I am not good on escalators. I have a strong interest in sports and love to talk about it, and I also enjoy music. I’m outgoing, like to have a laugh, and enjoy conversation.

I’m looking for a PA who has a good understanding and is caring enough to help me with my learning difficulties and to calm me down if I become anxious or upset.

**Requirements:**

• Based in Leeds 10 or close by.


• Must have your own car and a full driving license as I don’t use public transport due to difficulties.


• Non-smoker / vaper.
