Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide leadership in Security (with a focus on Information Security) for the AtkinsRéalis Major Projects business reporting to the Nuclear Security Manager.

  • Act as the focal point for all Security related matters across programs/projects and liaise effectively with the Major Projects leadership and Project Directors/Managers to build positive working relationships.

  • Author and maintain all program/project security documents; including, but not limited to, the Security Management Plan (SMP), travel guidance and induction materials.

  • Coordinate all internal programme/project security assurance activities, including that of new tools, applications, software, cloud/digital technology and innovations.

  • Ensure all client contract security requirements and Security Aspects Letter (SAL) clauses are understood, implemented and strictly adhered to through a balance of awareness campaigns and monitoring activities.

  • Lead all client security audits and assurance activities.

  • Liaise with the AtkinsRéalis vetting team to establish Personnel Security expectations for the business and ensure that this is factored into any future resourcing requirements.

  • Promote Security incident reporting across the business and act as a focal point for incidents ensuring correct reporting methods, timelines and escalations are followed.

  • Promote security awareness and compliance across the programs/projects as required.

  • Act as Security Controller for the business be responsible for classified holdings and exchanges.


Qualifications:



  • SQEP demonstration.

  • Ideally this would be supported by relevant professional qualification(s) (level 6 or higher) in cyber security or, a cyber security qualification with a demonstrable specialism (e.g. CISSP or CISM) or industry certification relating to the security of cyber physical systems that aligns with technologies used within the energy sector (or relevant CNI sector).

  • Demonstrable experience using and applying security frameworks and or technical standards e.g. NCSC CAF, NIST CSF, ISO 27K.

  • Able to achieve and maintain National Security Vetting SC clearance.


Experience & Skills:



  • Experience in Civil (ONR) and/or Defense (MoD/SDA) Nuclear desirable.

  • Client-facing experience, including negotiation, advisory and coaching skills (internal or external).

Security clearance:


This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
