Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Science educator with a passion for inspiring young minds? The Education Network is seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join our committed and supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the potential to teach Key Stage 5).
- Develop a deep understanding of students' learning needs and differentiate lessons accordingly.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and scientific thinking.
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources, including practical experiments, to enhance student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and offering support to help students achieve their best.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Uphold school policies related to safeguarding, student welfare, and health and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A passion for Science and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Experience teaching Science at the secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE Science requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
