The Role


In this pivotal position, you'll be responsible for the smooth, safe, and efficient running of all warehouse operations—from goods-in to final dispatch. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensure seamless inventory control, and champion best practices across health & safety, logistics, space management, and customer service.


Your key areas of responsibility will include:


  • Managing day-to-day operations across receiving, storage, and dispatch
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
  • Overseeing stock control, audits, and replenishment
  • Optimising warehouse layout, equipment usage, and space planning
  • Coordinating with logistics providers and internal stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost control
  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Delivering operational excellence through KPI tracking and data-led decision-making

Requirements


About You


To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader. We’re looking for someone who is:


  • Experienced in managing warehouse operations in a similar fast-paced environment
  • Confident in leading teams, setting performance standards, and promoting a positive workplace culture
  • Highly organised with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
  • Proficient in using data and KPIs to drive performance
  • Well-versed in compliance, health & safety, and warehouse systems
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Experience in vendor management, shipping coordination, and sustainability practices will also be advantageous.
