CGC Event Caterers are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our culinary team, based at our Central Production Kitchen! Our Chef de Partie will assist in the day to day culinary operations at both our Central Kitchen and our many incredible venues; taking charge of all food preparation prior to service and running their designated area of the kitchen.

• LNER Community Stadium – York

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for all food preparation ahead of events and race days
• Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented to CGC Standards
• Set up and operate kitchens across our venues and Outside Catering events
• Monitor ingredient usage to prevent wastage
• Act as one of our ambassadors for our 'Guardians of Grub' campaign
• Ensure compliance for all Food Safety and COSH regulations
  
  

Person Specification

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• The ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team
• A good knowledge of food and a passion for it
• Be aware of current industry trends
• Excellent understanding of Allergens & food Safety
• A desire to progress & develop their career
• Full, clean driving license is preferred

The requirements of the business are such that it is necessary to have a high degree of flexibility and therefore some evening and weekend work will be required and some business-related travel to be able to work at our venues and operational sites will be required
