Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate façade construction projects across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth collaboration between internal departments, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious developments and contribute to the successful delivery of complex façade systems.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management & Communication



  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project activities and performance.

  • Define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with all stakeholders.

  • Organise and chair project kick-off meetings; document and monitor assigned actions.

  • Coordinate pre-start meetings with clients and establish communication protocols.

  • Maintain regular reporting to senior management on team performance and project progress.


Planning & Scheduling



  • Develop phasing plans and construction timelines in coordination with Design and Quantity Surveying teams.

  • Prepare and manage project-specific programmes (e.g., MS Project) and weekly drop-line schedules.

  • Monitor technical submittals, sample approvals, and design trackers using tailored templates.

  • Formulate and manage material trackers including delivery sequencing and procurement coordination.


Site & Resource Management



  • Oversee site office setup and administration in line with company SOPs.

  • Ensure appropriate operative training matrices and assess subcontractor capabilities.

  • Implement and manage site sign-in systems and on-site operative tracking.

  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements as needed.


Reporting & Documentation



  • Produce tailored weekly project reports for internal and external stakeholders, including:

  • Progress updates

  • Delays or hold-ups

  • Health & Safety status

  • Variation tracking

  • Approval statuses

  • Photographic evidence of progress

  • Manage and respond to NCRs, SDRs, change orders, and consultant/client reports.

  • Issue formal notifications of delays and open issues through designated field forms.


Quality Assurance & Compliance



  • Develop project-specific Quality Plans and ITPs with defined inspection areas and frequencies.

  • Conduct and document weekly subcontractor meetings and internal design reviews.

  • Coordinate and file reports from supplier site visits and ensure procedural compliance.

  • Liaise with consultants and clients to identify testing requirements and arrange on-site testing.


Performance Monitoring & Reviews



  • Evaluate subcontractor and internal team performance; escalate risks as necessary.

  • Approve subcontractor variations and ensure all change control processes are followed.

  • Conduct regular supplier visits to review production timelines and quality standards.

  • Present monthly performance updates to senior leadership.

Requirements:



  • Strong background in glazing and rainscreen cladding is essential.

  • Must have a proven track record delivering similar façade projects for specialist subcontractors – candidates from main contractor-heavy backgrounds will not be prioritised.


  • NVQ Level 7 qualification is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage full project lifecycles from design coordination to handover.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
