This is a temporary, ongoing role with a national business (we're keeping them under wraps for now), where you'll be helping bring order to a high-volume, slightly chaotic AP function. Think 100+ invoices a day, aged creditors piling up, and a team that needs someone who can just get stuck in.
You'll be the extra pair of experienced hands they need. Someone who knows how to manage a backlog, chase POs and approvals without breaking a sweat, and who actually enjoys the buzz of playing catch-up.
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Matching, batching, coding - the usual, but fast and clean.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries and unblock stuck approvals.
- Supporting the team to reduce aged creditors and streamline the process.
- Strong experience in a high-volume purchase ledger environment - this isn't one for newbies.
- A hands-on, positive attitude. You'll be diving into the chaos, not watching from the sidelines.
- Confidence to push for answers and build rapport - you'll be chasing info across departments.
- £27,000-£28,000 depending on experience, paid weekly.
