The Role

We are currently looking for an individual to join the day cleaning team who are tasked with ensuring the trains meet a high standard of cleanliness before resuming service on a full time basis. This will involve full interior cleaning with tasks including mopping, hoovering and touch point cleaning as part of the interior cleaning team at Neville Hill Depot.

This role has an existing 2 week rolling roster, on a Sunday – Saturday basis as shown below:

Week 1: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 07:15am to 17:15pm

Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 07:15 to 17:15pm

Full flexibility is required with overtime available at the discretion of management team.

Pay Rate & Benefits

The pay rate for the Day Shift Train Cleaner position will be at £12.60 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.

About You

Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment.

You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment clean for customers.

Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
