Our mission is to protect our clients from evolving cyber threats while maintaining strong relationships built on trust and value. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled SOC Team Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, manage team resources, and provide technical leadership.
About the Role
As SOC Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring SOC analysts, acting as the senior technical escalation point, and ensuring the effective delivery of security services. You will also oversee client project implementations, ensuring seamless integrations within our security stack. Additionally, you will serve as the technical account manager for key SOC clients, providing expert security guidance and ensuring service excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Team Leadership & Technical Guidance
- Oversee and manage the SOC team, ensuring effective resource allocation and shift coverage
- Mentor and develop SOC analysts, conducting regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new SOC team members
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex security incidents and investigations
- Support advanced threat hunting, incident response, and forensic analysis
- Ensure the SOC follows best practices and industry standards
- Client Engagement & Technical Account Management
- Oversee security tool deployments and client onboarding, ensuring seamless integration into SOC services
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance automation and SOAR workflows
- Work closely with clients to define security objectives and implement tailored security solutions
- Serve as the key technical contact for major SOC clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction
- Conduct regular service reviews, security posture assessments, and technical presentations
- Provide expert recommendations on security improvements and best practices
- Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Assist in the development and refinement of SOC processes, playbooks, and procedures
- Monitor and report on SOC performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulatory requirements
Who We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in a SOC environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Strong technical knowledge of security tools, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Firewalls, and Threat Intelligence platforms
- Hands-on experience with security incident handling, threat hunting, and forensic analysis
- Excellent understanding of attack tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience managing client relationships and providing technical advisory services
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience working within an MSSP environment
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent
- Knowledge of scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for security operations
