Senior AWS Engineer - #1702552

A leading digital innovator in the property technology space is seeking a Senior AWS Engineer to support the design, development, and management of robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure across multi-AZ and multi-region environments
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to support high-quality platform delivery
• Lead the development of monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to ensure resilience and uptime
• Champion automation and DevOps principles throughout the platform lifecycle
• Support and mentor junior and mid-level cloud engineers
• Contribute to setting the technical direction for infrastructure best practices and solution design
  
  

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, RDS, KMS, etc.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Solid experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and DevOps practices including build/release pipelines
• Experience deploying secure, enterprise-grade infrastructure with built-in observability and reliability
• Exposure to containerisation (Docker required, Kubernetes desirable)
• Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams and stakeholders
