Finishing Foreman - #1703933

Opportunity for a skilled and experienced Finishing Foreperson to oversee the completion of a student accommodation development project on a construction site in Leeds. This position has an expected 2 month duration.
The Finishing Foreperson will be responsible for ensuring that all finishing works are carried out to the highest standards, meeting quality and safety requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the finishing works on the construction site.


• Inspect and ensure the quality of workmanship, materials, and finishes, rectifying any issues or defects identified.


• Keeping a quantified list of snagging items and ensuring that trades return to complete these within the allocated timeframe.


• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of finishing works.


• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily Photos, defect sheets & snagging lists


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all workers on the site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreperson or similar role in the construction industry.


• Strong knowledge of various finishing techniques and materials used in student accommodation developments.


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifically detail drawings.


• Multi-skilled with experience in one or more of the finishing trades.


• SSSTS/SMSTS/CSCS


• First Aid


• Based in or commutable to Leeds

The position is open for a Finishing Foreperson/Manager for an immediates start, and would suit individuals with above experience who are based a commutable distance to Leeds
