About the Role:
As a consulting software engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering stable and quality products to our customers. You will be part of a collaborative team working to support industry-leading solutions to combat fraud. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about modern frontend development processes and can develop high-performing SaaS products
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write code to meet the requirements of complex user stories, ensuring functionality aligns with specified criteria and enhances the overall user experience
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources
- Provide design input across a product
- Work directly with customers and end users
- Serve as a key resource on coding and technical issues
- Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
- Complete complex bug fixes
- Design and work with complex data models
- Mentor lead software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques
Requirements:
- Expertise in data modeling, design and manipulation, optimization, best practices, tuning, and leading industry trends
- Experience in writing testable code using unit and integration tests, including familiarity with test frameworks such as Cypress, Serenity, Jest, and Karma
- Solid knowledge of architectural principles such as domain-driven design, event-driven systems, micro-frontends, and microservices
- Ability to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs
- Experience in cloud services including AWS EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, RDS, and Grafana
- Knowledge of web security practices, including XSS, CSRF, and secure coding standards
- Advanced communication and customer service skills, with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities applicable to a wide audience
