We are looking for a Group Accountant to join our Management Accounts Team in Leeds, who will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly UK LLP Group financial reporting and annual statutory accounts, monitoring the integrity of entity management accounts, application of accounting policies, and the consolidation and interpretation of the UK LLP Group results for both management accounts and financial statements.

This role requires an individual with experience of international accounting to compliment the internal Finance team and a credible person with strong influencing skills who will work with Partners, bankers and auditors. Our Team

Our Finance team in Leeds is a large team providing centralised support for all the UK offices and take pride in providing a world class service to the firm's internal and external clients.

Our Opportunity

Based in Leeds and reporting to the Financial Controller-International (UK LLP), you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the annual financial audit of the statutory accounts of the UK LLP Group, involving planning, dealing with issues and achieving agreed deadlines. You will work with other members of the Management Accounts team, co-ordinate timely production of the UK LLP Group monthly management accounts and prepare the consolidation on both an internal and statutory basis, as well as prepare external reporting to banks.

You will own the accounting for a significant related party, reporting and agreeing balances as required. In addition, you will be performing eliminations as part of the month-end and year-end procedures, investigating differences and rectifying. You will support daily processes, interacting with significant related parties as required.

The role will require you to co-ordinate the preparation of industry surveys, monitor the application of UK GAAP and its impact of the UK LLP Group results, and generally support the wider team according to the needs of the business.

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, Flexibility Required

You

You will be CCAB qualified and be at least 5 years post-qualified (or QBE). International and multi-currency consolidation and group accounting experience are essential. You will possess a working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS/IAS, and Companies House. Competency with desktop and Microsoft packages is essential, as well as experience using general ledger packages.

Excellent ability to work in a team environment is a must, and you will be able to assist and support colleagues where needed. Flexibility is required with regards to hours as the need arises.
