Brio Digital seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to join our client's team within the public sector.


Delivery Manager Key Responsibilities:



  • Project Management: Lead the planning and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and support multidisciplinary teams, including user researchers, designers, developers, and testers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Agile Methodologies: Champion Agile practices, facilitating ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • GDS Standards: Ensure all projects comply with GDS guidelines, focusing on user-centred design and delivering services that meet user needs.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status updates to senior management.


Delivery Manager Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Delivery Manager in a digital environment, preferably within the public sector.

  • Agile Expertise: Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

  • GDS Knowledge: Familiarity with GDS standards and principles.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing and leading multidisciplinary teams.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Project Management Tools Proficiency in using project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or equivalent.
