We are looking to hire a talented Engineer to join our global team in Technology. This is a challenging, fast-paced and exciting environment, with plenty of opportunities to grow. As part of the Network Engineering team, you will improve the stability, resilience and scale of our services by automation, testing and engineering. To consistently deliver value to the customers, you will ensure that:

  • Technical solutions are aligned across teams and
  • Monitoring, logging and alerting facilities are in place.

List of skills we think you'll need:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Problem solving.
  • Defining and maintaining processes.
  • Adaptability to shifting directions, circumstances and priorities.
  • Proficiency in agile practices.

Technical skills:

  • Deep knowledge of general routing, load balancing and switching.
  • Good understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and other protocols commonly used in enterprise networks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues like network performance degradation.
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security measures.
  • Experience with operations culture and good understanding of metrics, alarms and dashboards.
  • Experience in network automation tools and techniques, including scripting or programming languages like Python.
  • Experience with network maintenance procedures including upgrades, configuration changes and software/firmware updates.
  • Experience using one of the major cloud providers.
