Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services, drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management. Our clients include water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers across the UK and internationally.
It's an exciting time to work in our UK Water business, with significant industry investment. We are recruiting an entry-level Hydraulic Modeller for our Wastewater Team in Leeds. Candidates with limited experience but strong analytical skills and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
What you can bring:
- An understanding of the UK water industry, environment, and sustainability, with a desire to address environmental challenges.
- Experience in wastewater modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
- A proactive attitude, with a desire to develop technically and pursue a professional qualification.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Your purpose:
- Develop computer models to investigate flooding and environmental issues and propose solutions.
- Create, verify, and analyze hydraulic sewer models.
- Develop 1D and 2D flood risk models.
- Handle and analyze data.
- Use GIS software (MapInfo & ArcGIS) to understand environmental problems.
- Prepare reports and project deliverables.
- Plan and supervise surveys.
- Support junior team members in solving environmental challenges for clients.
