Role overview:

Your purpose will be to engage with members to ensure they receive a world-class member experience on every visit to JD Gyms. This means upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, gym floor member interaction, leading gym inductions, and teaching engaging group exercise classes.


Responsibilities:

  1. Places member experience at the heart of everything you do by constantly engaging with members on the gym floor.

  2. Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in the club, in line with JD Gyms brand standards.

  3. Deliver engaging group exercise classes.

  4. Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.

  5. Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.

  6. Conduct club standards checks across the club, ensuring results are recorded accurately and in line with JD Gyms record keeping procedures.

  7. Provide ad hoc support to members as required or observed.

  8. Ensure that club cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level as set out by the Gym Management and Operations team.

  9. Maintain excellent brand standards at all times, ensuring the club is safe and compliant with all health and safety action points.

  10. Monitor our service delivery through our performance and member feedback.

  11. Ensure you operate and are compliant in a safe and legal manner at all times whilst working for JD Gyms.

  12. Implement strong management and consideration of energy/environmental issues and waste management.

  13. Analyze and present key data to support new ideas, initiatives, and proposed developments.

  • Has a passion for fitness, health, wellbeing, and helping people.

  • Embodies JD Gyms brand standards and values.

  • Enthusiastic and open to learning.

  • Able to adapt their style to differing personalities.

  • Resilient and receptive to feedback.

  • Understands and can articulate the importance of a great member experience.

  • Flexible in approach to hours worked.

  • Loves being part of a team that works hard for each other, our members, and our local communities.

  • Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualified.
