Fleet Services sits at the core of the First Bus operation, delivering essential administrative and transactional support across multiple business functions nationwide. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and embedding processes within agreed timelines and to a high standard. You'll play an active part in driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancement and embracing change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. About The Role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the administration of key operation support processes including:
- Fuel data processing and analysis
- Transactional Fleet & Fuel services
- Missing trip & lost mileage reporting
- General administration support to other teams, providing a route to deepen individual knowledge and multi-process management experience.
- Ensure all processes are managed correctly in line with agreed procedures and up to date governance requirements.
- Provide data and associated reporting to the business in line with administered processes.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all parts of the business, ensuring all outputs and delivery is ‘right first time'.
- Support with the presentation of data and reports to internal audit and key stakeholders as required.
- Support other teams and process handling within Financial Operations as and when required, and champion a multi-process culture of learning and development.
- Encourage and champion continuous improvement methodology, and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain excellent communications and interface with all customers and stakeholders.
- Deal with all queries efficiently and on time, ensuring accuracy and follow through to completion.
- Support team members to ensure SLAs, KPIs and performance delivery is achieved at all times.
- Keep up to date with changes in processes to be able to respond to queries effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal contacts, including the operations resource from all Operating Companies and appropriate central teams.
- Other duties commensurate with the role as may be deemed appropriate by the line manager.
- Previous experience of working in an operations administration function.
- A team player wholly committed to working with and supporting their peer group and other colleagues to achieve the First Bus strategy.
- Effective communicator and networker with the ability to quickly forge good working relationships.
- Organised and results driven with an ability to get into the detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of achieving deadlines and working effectively within a complex and dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
