Finance Analyst - Leeds | Up to £40,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, including cash flow forecasting.
- Build and maintain financial models for departmental P&Ls and projects to ensure robust financial planning.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, supporting commercial decision making.
- Deliver ad-hoc commercial analysis and reports to support operational leaders in evaluating performance and recommending actionable next steps.
- Update and maintain monthly forecasting files and consolidate group-level forecasts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather timely inputs for budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide timely analysis for monthly close deadlines.
- Contribute to the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Report on key financial metrics, budgetary variances, and track non-financial data to drive informed decision-making.
- Develop and improve KPI reporting and tracking for enhanced performance monitoring.
- Engage in business partnering with revenue-generating departments and cost owners, offering insights and suggestions through regular interactions.
- Play an active role in ongoing and future system and process improvement projects.
- Support other ad-hoc financial duties as needed.
