As an Associate Director, you will build and maintain strong client relationships, lead and mentor a talented team, and contribute to the growth of the wider Transport business across Stantec.

You will oversee the delivery of project work that is commercially successful and of an excellent technical standard. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, developers, statutory authorities, and co-professional collaborators. Identifying new client opportunities and business development will be a key part of your role.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally be a Chartered Transport Planning Professional with a relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or a related field. You will also have:

  • A proven track record delivering transport-related development planning work (Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Environmental Statements, etc.).
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing medium to large projects or workstreams.
  • Commercial acumen, with a flair for business development and client engagement.
  • Ideally you will have some experience of business development have an established presence and network within the regional market.
  • Most importantly, you will have the ambition and passion to grow our team, deliver and build upon the existing projects within our portfolio and identify new opportunities in the market.
