OCU Group are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our Residential team in Leeds.


The purpose of the role is to provide support to our engineers, you will be responsible for managing and optimising schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining smooth operations across departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and interpersonal skills to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate and maintain schedules for employees, contractors, or resources to meet operational demands.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries, changes, and conflict resolution.

  • Communicate schedule updates promptly to relevant stakeholders.

  • Ensure customer SLA’s are met by making the best use of our resources, and helping to plan out the work efficiently.

  • Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high standards.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and UK labour regulations (e.g., working time directives).

  • Monitor and address last-minute changes or emergencies to minimise disruption.

  • Utilise scheduling software or tools to optimise resource allocation.

  • Generate and maintain accurate records and reports related to scheduling.

  • Collaborate with team leaders and managers to forecast staffing needs and resource planning.


Skills and Experience:



  • Proven experience in a scheduling, coordination, or administrative role.

  • Strong geographical knowledge with experience scheduling field visits across the Yorkshire and East Midlands Areas.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Knowledge and experience in the utilities industry (preferred).
