Senior Manager - Strategy

We’re looking for a Senior Manager - Strategy to join our Strategy Team at Flutter UK & Ireland.

The UKI strategy team are a core part of the CEO office, reporting into Flutter UKI’s Chief of Staff. The strategy team sit alongside our BI & research, strategic projects and internal communications teams.

The UKI strategy team works closely with stakeholders across the business at the Flutter UKI Leadership Team (LT) and LT-1 level to deliver a number of strategic functions.

What You’ll Do

• Setting overall UKI strategic direction and mobilising the business against it.
• Supporting with the definition of our UKI-wide Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to ensure we stay on track to deliver against our strategy
• Rapidly develop and maintain expertise in the sector and on key strategic topics that impact the UKI business
• Drive delivery of key strategic projects, working closely with business owners and senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in, reporting and pace
• Work closely with Research and BI on specific strategic topics to ensure strong insights developed to support action
• Work with Strategy Director and LT sponsors as needed to co-create Board-ready strategy materials
  
  

How You’ll Do It

• Track record of running sizable workstreams with complex stakeholder engagement
• Experience working on strategy projects, leveraging sophisticated data sources including primary research to deliver a recommendation
• Ability to communicate complex concepts simply with a bias to action
• Ability to drive projects independently, keeping senior stakeholders informed and engaged as needed
• Nice to have: Knowledge of UKI betting and gaming sector and ecosystem of competitors, suppliers and customers
• Experience working in analogous consumer industries – e.g. entertainment, leisure, travel, telco
