We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Night Shift General Operative to join our team in Leeds (LS9 0SG). With a working schedule of Monday to Friday working 22:00-0630.

The position holder will support the effective running of the warehouse operation in a multitude of tasks, including inbound and outbound deliveries.

The role will offer salary of £27300.42 and shift allowance of £1800.00 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, picking, put away, replenishment and dispatch.
• Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process.
• Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
• Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
• Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.
• Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager.
  
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
