Urban Drainage Modeller - #1744820

Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking an Urban Drainage Modeller to join their team on a contract basis.

• Building, developing, calibrating, and verifying urban drainage models
• Assessing and upgrading hydraulic models of urban drainage networks (foul and surface water systems) using InfoWorks ICM
• Scoping survey works (asset surveys, CCTV, and flow surveys) and reviewing returned survey data
• Collating and reviewing catchment data (e.g., trade flow, population data)
• Collecting and analysing hydrological and hydraulic data
• Validating and verifying InfoWorks ICM models against observed data
• Conducting capacity assessments using InfoWorks ICM models
• Preparing technical reports
• Supervising, supporting, and developing junior modelling staff

• Experience in urban drainage modelling, specifically with InfoWorks ICM
• Experience working with a UK Water Company
• Strong practical knowledge and understanding of GIS (ARCGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS)
• Competency in using MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work under the direction of Team Managers, Project Managers, and Lead Design Engineers
