A busy repair workshop in Leeds is hiring a skilled Winder/Fitter to join their team. If you’re experienced in repairing electric motors and rotating machinery, this is an opportunity to build a long-term future with a company that values quality and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs on a wide variety of rotating industrial equipment

• Perform strip-downs, inspections, fault diagnosis, and rebuilds

• 80% workshop / 20% site-based work

• Collaborate with the team and support emergency breakdown repairs as needed

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical fitting background, ideally with winding experience

• Familiar with pump and motor overhauls

• Self-sufficient and capable of working to technical drawings

• Must already have legal right to work in the UK
