We are currently working with an alternative provision based in the Leeds who are looking for Higher Level 4 Teaching Assistant with experience working with children that present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This is a varied role and will require individuals passionate about want to make a real difference in children’s lives.

Job Spec & Description:

• Delivering across curricular primary model content to Key stage 3- Key stage 4 learners
• Delivering group sessions with small groups of learners.
• Manage classroom resources.
• Take Children on educational trips and visits.
• Follow the school’s policy on positive regard and behaviour polices when needed.
• Keep children safe when they are in crisis or heightened behaviours with strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication skills.
• Qualified to level 4 Higher level Teaching Assistant
• Celebrate success.
• Participate in therapeutic training sessions or reflecting on difficult periods.
• Committed and passionate about teaching learners with differentiated needs.
• Valid and current DBS on the subscription service.
