The Role

Just as coaches are there for their participants, so we are here for the coach. We provide membership, learning and development, products, and services to support coaches in their coaching practice and everyday lives.

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will be integral in driving our digital marketing strategy, enhancing our online presence, and engaging our audience through impactful digital marketing campaigns. You will play a key role in supporting our mission by connecting with coaches and promoting the value of coaching across the UK.

You will be responsible for website maintenance and development, including UX, while also executing personalised email campaigns and retention sequences, and supporting product launches and launch communications planning.

This role also involves day-to-day support for the marketing team, contributing to campaign execution, strategic planning, and optimising digital channels to maximise engagement and conversions. A strong commercial focus is crucial, ensuring that all digital activities contribute to revenue growth, member acquisition, and retention.

You will also form an integral part of the UK Coaching Club product “bubble” team to help drive develop of our flagship product.

You are a commercially focused digital marketer who understands how to leverage digital channels to drive growth and profitability. You have a proven track record of developing and executing digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You bring a strategic mindset with a strong focus on ROI and performance metrics, and you’re comfortable working with data to make informed decisions. You are proactive, organised, and thrive in a collaborative environment, bringing creative ideas and strategic thinking to the table.

You have hands-on experience with ECRM, website management and UX, and digital campaign execution, and ideally, you are familiar with Kentico CMS. You’re confident working across multiple digital channels, from personalised email campaigns to website development, and are keen to contribute to product launches and overall marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Digital marketing and campaign execution

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for our external Digital Consultant and work with him to deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns that align with our mission and business objectives.
  • Support our digital consultant with the execution of digital advertising strategies across PPC, social media, SEO, and display channels to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive membership to acquisition and retention, ensuring all campaigns have a clear commercial focus.
  • Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in developing launch communication plans and coordinating product launch campaigns.
  • Support the Social Media Manager in leverage digital channels to promote our membership, learning, and development services to support coaches across the UK.

Website management & development

  • Oversee the maintenance and development of the company website, ensuring a seamless user experience and SEO optimisation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external developers/agencies on website enhancements, and performance optimisations.
  • Advise on and implement UK enhancements for the UK Coaching website.
  • Manage website tracking, analytics, and reporting to monitor site performance, user behaviour, and commercial impact.
  • Experience with Kentico CMS is desirable.

Email marketing & customer retention

  • Design and implement personalised email marketing campaigns and retention sequences to increase engagement and loyalty within our community of coaches.
  • Utilise segmentation and automation within the ECRM platform to optimise customer journeys and maximise conversions.
  • Analyse email performance metrics and conduct A/B testing for continuous improvement.

Product support

  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to support product launch delivery, ensuring all digital assets and campaigns align with strategic and commercial goals.
  • Assist in developing product positioning and messaging for digital channels.
  • Work as part of the UK Coaching Club product “bubble” team to help drive the development of the product.

Marketing team Support

  • Provide ongoing support to the marketing team, assisting with campaign execution, reporting, and project management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Analyse performance data to provide insights and recommendations for marketing optimisation and ROI improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in an e-commerce, membership, or B2B/B2C environment.
  • Strong commercial background with a track record of driving revenue growth and maximising ROI through digital marketing activities.
  • Strong knowledge of ECRM systems and email marketing platforms, with hands-on experience in designing and executing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and nurturing relationships.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding experiences.
  • Experience in website management, development, and maintenance (experience with Kentico CMS is desirable).
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles for website development and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and paid media strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform marketing strategies and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Experience supporting product launches and campaign planning.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with membership products and understanding of membership lifecycle marketing.
  • Knowledge of the sports and physical activity sector or a passion for coaching is a plus.
  • Ability to create and manage digital assets (basic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva are a plus)
