The Role: Based at our Leeds facility, the Depot Administrator will be instrumental in maintaining and further developing quality relationships with our existing customers and our dedicated Transport team. This vital role involves ensuring a seamless flow of information in both directions - from customers to the Transport team and vice versa - to support efficient and effective logistics operations.

The Role: Based at our Leeds facility, the Depot Administrator will be instrumental in maintaining and further developing quality relationships with our existing customers and our dedicated Transport team. This vital role involves ensuring a seamless flow of information in both directions - from customers to the Transport team and vice versa - to support efficient and effective logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and nurture effective relationships with both customers and the internal Transport team.
- Provide an exceptional level of communication, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Engage directly with customer teams, efficiently answering questions, resolving issues, and providing timely updates.
- Collaborate closely with the Transport team to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
- Accurately input bookings into the Transport Management System (TMS).
- Proactively chase and obtain Proof of Delivery (POD), Consignment Note (CMR), and any other required paperwork.
- Ensure that costings are accurate and that all financial processes are adhered to where required.
- Complete any other duties as reasonably requested by the Management Team to support the depot's operations.
- Proven experience within a customer service background is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, supported by high-quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes within a dynamic work environment.
- A proactive and effective problem-solver with a solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, coupled with strong organisational skills and the capability to meet deadlines consistently.
- A willingness to learn new roles and expand responsibilities within the team.
