Field Service Engineer

Located around the M62 Corridor, United Kingdom

Your Tasks

  • Carry out customer visits assigned by the Service Administration team, including the scheduling and customer communication
  • Performing a variety of calibrations on a range of manufacturers material test equipment to UKAS standards
  • Providing installation, maintenance, training and calibration services to customers on their MTS systems
  • Preparation of visit, calibration, installation and service reports with a keen eye for detail
  • Supporting the Sales and Operations departments
  • Ensuring compliance with the quality system, health and workplace safety regulations, legal regulations, CE requirements, as well as internal, technical guidelines to prevent health and financial risk
  • Maintaining costs within budget

Your Qualifications

  • Degree or similar in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Calibration experience in a similar environment
  • Experience in customer support and field service
  • Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Clean driving license
  • Willingness to travel, be flexible and work independently as well as a team player
  • A friendly, approachable, customer-centric attitude and approach
