More About The Role
We are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Lead on an initial 6 month contract.
Based on site 3 days a week in Leeds and reporting to the Head of Finance, this is an excellent opportunity to join a key area of the business.
You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Accounts Payable team. Leading a team of 2, you will ensure that the function runs as effectively and efficiently as possible. In addition, you will ensure disputes and discrepancies with suppliers are resolved in a timely manner and payments made according to terms. You will also act as an escalation point for enquires.
Managing a portfolio of suppliers and and building relationships with stakeholders across the business is also a key part of the role.
More About You
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role and have led an Accounts Payable function. Experience and an understanding of general accounting policies is desired. In addition, Project Management / experience of overseeing projects is desired though not essential.

- A proven track record of leading an Accounts Payable function,
- An understanding of VAT, CIS and Accounts Payable,
- Previously led teams,
- Excellent stakeholder engagement/ management.
