Arla Foods Stourton Dairy are looking for proficient Production Operative to join our team on a full time and permanent basis where you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic dairy products which include Cravendale milk.
About The Job
As a Production Operative you will be working a full time, 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights) and will have responsibility for the daily operation of container filling and labelling machinery, producing a range of our top quality dairy products.
The successful candidate will report and correct any safety issues whilst maintaining proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
You will perform quality inspections on materials and finished product which will include, codes, seals and weights and you will be responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
You will perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.
Finally, you will perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e. clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten and monitor equipment and process performance and correct /raise issues before they become a problem.

What you’ll need to be successful in the role
- Good communicator with ability to understand instructions
- Previous experience in an FMCG or related company
- Food hygiene certificate
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
- Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. SCADA, OEE, SPC
