Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift: Rotational Shift (AM 6.30 – 15.30 / PM 13.00 – 22.00)

We are recruiting for a BOH Cleaning operative, to provide support to our team. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team, to oversee all logistics, cleaning and maintenance.

You will work within the Cleaning Services Team, carrying out duties effectively and efficiently in accordance with contractual requirements. You must follow the Company's Health, Safety and Quality procedures within the course of the role. You will be driving a company vehicle moving waste from one service yard to another. You will make sure all services yards are clear of any waste.

You will use compactors to compact General / DMR waste streams. You must ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order, i.e. PAT Tested, etc. You will have full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to the area. You are required to work with the food retailers.

You will clean service yards and restroom facilities. You must have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises and to attend all necessary training to be able to use this equipment. You are required to comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and premises policies.

You will wear protective clothing (PPE) as issued. You must deal with any complaints that fall within the job holder's duties and report these immediately to the Cleaning Team Leaders. You must perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as apparent or as instructed by the Cleaning Team Leader.
