Commercial Finance Accountant – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - #1796968

We’re looking for a strong commercial finance professional to join our dynamic Group Finance team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. As a Commercial Finance Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting senior stakeholders, delivering critical financial insights, and driving performance to achieve business goals.

What You'll Do:

• Support financial performance for the Disputes Group, focusing on profit improvement and financial control.

• Provide commercial insights to Partners, guiding and supporting them to enhance financial outcomes.

• Lead projects such as client profitability reviews, pricing, and process improvements.

• Analyse and report on monthly financial performance, offering actionable insights.

• Monitor key financial metrics and drive working capital improvements.

• Assist with business planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

• Partner with stakeholders on tenders, pricing, and strategic decision-making.

Who We're Looking For:

• A qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong commercial expertise.

• Confident in influencing and challenging senior stakeholders with gravitas and credibility.

• A skilled communicator, capable of distilling complex information into clear insights.

• Experienced in balancing deadlines with long-term projects and delivering results.

• Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Power BI and Excel, with a flair for financial analysis.
