Assistant Accountant - #1800626

Finest Brands International, home to Champion Equestrian Safety and Toggi Clothing and Footwear, is now recruiting an Assistant Accountant. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with two established and highly respected brands and join a growing team.

As Assistant Accountant, your daily role, tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management (including invoice discounting facility)
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain and update financial records and documentation
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role would be advantageous (1-2 years preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High levels of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work proactively and reactively while managing own workload
