Regulatory Solicitor – Leeds

A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Regulatory Lawyer to join its expanding Corporate Defence & Regulatory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in health and safety and wider regulatory matters to work on high-profile investigations, enforcement actions and crisis management issues for a diverse client base.

The team advises organisations across a broad spectrum of corporate defence and regulatory matters, including criminal prosecutions, regulatory compliance, risk management and interactions with enforcement and regulatory authorities. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded practice that is regularly instructed on complex and sensitive matters.

Applications are welcomed from candidates at Associate, Senior Associate and Managing Associate level, as well as those with more extensive experience who are seeking a new challenge within a growing national team.

Key responsibilities are likely to include:

• Advising on health and safety compliance, incident response, investigations, enforcement action and criminal prosecutions
• Supporting clients on product safety and product recall matters, including internal investigations and engagement with enforcement authorities
• Advising on food safety and broader regulated-product compliance issues within highly regulated sectors
• Assisting with corporate defence matters, including regulatory investigations, corporate manslaughter cases, coroner's inquests and related enforcement proceedings
