Role: AWS Cloud Engineer / AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Leeds, Hybrid (2 days in HQ, 3 days remote)

Meaningful, real enterprise scale work operating with a talented Cloud centre of excellence. This is NOT a support role. The role will help build, optimise, and evolve a modern cloud platform supporting critical business services across multiple international markets.

Suited to DevOps Engineers and/or AWS Cloud Platform Engineers that really enjoying leveraging IAC (Terraform / CDK / Cloudformation) and Automation.

What you'll be doing:

Designing, building, and managing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud environments
Driving cloud transformation initiatives, migrating legacy platforms to cloud-native solutions
Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and automation tooling
Partnering with Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deliver resilient and secure production platforms
Championing cloud best practices, governance, compliance, and operational excellence
Optimising cloud performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across the estate

What we're looking for:

Proven experience delivering cloud transformation and migration programmes
Strong hands-on AWS expertise across core services including EC2, S3, Lambda, containers, and serverless technologies
Experience building and operating cloud-native solutions at scale
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation
Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks including ISO and NIST
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
