I am now exclusively recruiting a brand new Finance Business Partner for a leading global manufacturing business in Leeds with over 150 sites worldwide and Head Offices based in Europe!
Following a recent restructure to create a dedicated commercial finance function, the FD is looking to hire a Finance Business Partner for one of the key business units.
This role will be a key financial link between sites, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of critical financial and project management activities. You will play a central role in driving financial performance and business planning across the business.
Based at the newly refurbished offices with on site parking and gym, you will work alongside one other Finance BP and report directly to the FD. The role will be standalone and have end to end commercial responsibility for the BU, offering fantastic exposure and ownership!

Reporting to the Finance Director this role will include:
- Ensure accurate tracking and management of inventory and backlogs
- Monitor customer order contract profitability and utilisation metrics
- Link strategic plans to Business and financial drivers, aligning sales and Business planning, resource management, capital projects, other expenses, and working capital planning
- Generate, model, and execute action plans to address performance gaps and improve overall performance
- Perform capacity planning processes that drive accurate input for hourly rate calculations
- Provide business planning, forecasting, and budgeting know how and support to the relevant stakeholders
- Oversight of job cost performance meetings with projects, producing portfolio view with commentary
- Present specific finance slides in monthly MIS results pack to BU management.
- Production of monthly rolling forecast of the P&L
- Monthly Cashflow forecasting
- Cost centre actuals tracking and reporting for review with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will:
- Be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Have a proven track record in inventory management, cost control, and project management
- Have experience within the manufacturing or industrial sector (Highly desirable)
- Have a strong understanding of cost controlling, budgeting, and financial planning
