Accounts Receivable Assistant - #2113119

Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a growing organisation in Leeds that is undergoing an exciting period of change and development. Due to increased workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant on a 3-5 month temporary basis.

Your new role

Working as part of a busy finance team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Raising sales invoices
• Helping with commissioner queries
• Allocating incoming payments
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Chasing outstanding debt and resolving payment queries
• Supporting month-end processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records and reports

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience within an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency with Excel and finance systems
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and work independently
