We're recruiting an experienced Trusts Senior Manager to join a growing Private Client Tax team in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA-qualified Trusts specialist to take a leading role in developing the firm's trusts offering. You'll combine technical expertise with client relationship management, team leadership and business development, helping to build a strong and scalable Trusts service.

• Manage a varied portfolio of trust tax compliance and advisory work
• Act as a key technical expert across Trusts, IHT, CGT and private client taxation
• Provide strategic advice to HNW clients, trustees and families
• Review complex trust tax work and ensure high technical standards
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Identify opportunities to grow and develop the firm's Trusts offering
• Mentor, coach and develop junior members of the Private Client Tax team
• Work closely with Corporate Tax, Financial Planning, Audit and other advisory teams
• Support business development through networking, presentations and thought leadership
• Keep up to date with changes in trust and tax legislation
• Drive improvements to trust processes, compliance and best practice
• Contribute to the strategic development of the Trusts service line

• CTA qualified, with a strong specialism in Trusts
• STEP qualified or working towards the qualification would be advantageous
• Significant experience in trust taxation and private client tax
• Strong technical knowledge of IHT, CGT and trust legislation
• Experience managing complex client portfolios
• Proven leadership and team development experience
• Strong stakeholder and client relationship skills
• Commercially minded with business development experience
• Able to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels
