IP Solicitor – Leeds

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to strengthen its Intellectual Property team with the appointment of an experienced IP Solicitor. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice to a diverse client base and offers a collaborative and supportive environment where individuals can develop their expertise and progress their careers.

The successful candidate will join the firm’s IP team and advise clients across a broad range of intellectual property matters. This is an opportunity to work on varied and challenging cases alongside experienced legal professionals, with significant scope to develop your practice and take on increasing responsibility.

The role is based in Leeds and offers a competitive salary of up to £90,000.

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters
• Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious IP work
• Supporting clients with the protection, enforcement and commercialisation of their IP rights
• Drafting and reviewing legal documentation and correspondence
• Conducting legal research and providing clear, commercially focused advice
• Working closely with colleagues and other professional advisers
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with 2–8 years’ PQE in Intellectual Property law
• Strong knowledge and experience across IP matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on client service
• A proactive and collaborative approach
