Data Transformation Consultant - Leeds (Hybrid) - SC Cleared - Up to £80,000 + Bonus

I'm partnered with a leading digital and technology consultancy helping organisations unlock greater value from their data through large-scale cloud, analytics and transformation programmes across government, public sector and enterprise environments.

As part of continued growth within their Data & Analytics practice, they're looking to hire an experienced Senior Analytics Consultant who enjoys operating at the intersection of business strategy, data and technology.

This is a highly consultative role where you'll work directly with senior client stakeholders to shape data strategies, define transformation roadmaps and lead the design of modern analytics platforms. You'll help organisations modernise legacy estates, unlock greater value from their data and deliver meaningful business outcomes through cloud technologies and data-driven decision making.

You'll be joining a collaborative consulting environment where you'll influence large-scale transformation programmes, lead discovery workshops, contribute to client growth opportunities and work alongside Architects, Data Engineers, Product Leaders and Analysts, giving you genuine influence over the direction of client programmes rather than simply delivering pre-defined requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading client-facing discovery engagements and architecture workstreams.
• Running workshops to gather requirements and align business and technical teams.
• Designing modern cloud-based analytics, data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.
• Advising senior stakeholders on data strategy, governance and operating models.
• Supporting large-scale cloud migration and platform modernisation initiatives.
• Defining delivery roadmaps and translating business objectives into technical solutions.
• Working closely with Data Engineers, Analysts and Product teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Ensuring best practice across data quality, governance, metadata and platform design.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, solution shaping and proposal development.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the transformation lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture or leading data and analytics programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation capabilities.
• Experience delivering cloud-based data transformation projects within complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud ecosystems.
• Knowledge of tools such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Synapse or similar.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management and data quality frameworks.
• Experience working within consulting environments or managing multiple client workstreams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
