We are seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join a highly regarded Leeds team within a global law firm. You will work on a broad range of high value corporate transactions, with a strong focus on M&A and opportunities to gain international and cross border exposure.

Description

The Corporate Solicitor will be:

• Advising public and private companies on a broad range of corporate matters
• Working on mergers and acquisitions from initial instruction through to completion
• Advising on acquisitions, disposals and investments
• Supporting private equity transactions and strategic investments
• Advising on equity capital markets transactions where appropriate
• Working on corporate reorganisations and other strategic projects
• Managing transactions and coordinating input from internal teams and external advisers
• Building strong relationships with clients and developing an understanding of their commercial objectives
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the UK and international offices

Profile

The Corporate Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor with around 2 to 8 years PQE
• Experienced in a broad range of corporate transactions, particularly M&A
• Confident advising clients on complex and commercially important matters
• Comfortable managing transactions with appropriate levels of supervision
• Commercially minded with strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Able to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
• keen to develop within an international law firm
• Experienced in private equity or cross border transactions would be advantageous, but is not essential

Job Offer

• A salary ranging from £83,000 to £100,000
