Your new role
As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of plastering and repair works within occupied and void properties. You will work independently and alongside other trade professionals to ensure all work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales and in line with health and safety regulations.Key responsibilities will include:

• Skimming and re-skimming walls and ceilings
• Patch plastering and reactive repair works
• Bonding and rendering repairs
• Preparing surfaces prior to plaster application
• Carrying out plastering works within kitchens, bathrooms and general living areas
• Ensuring properties are left clean and tidy upon completion
• Identifying additional maintenance issues and reporting where necessary
• Delivering excellent customer service to tenants and clients
• Working across Leeds and surrounding areas

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Plasterer within social housing, property maintenance, repairs, or construction
• Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials
• Ability to carry out both patch repairs and full-room plastering works
• Experience working in occupied properties
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage your workload effectively and work independently
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant trade qualifications (desirable but not essential)
