Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy - #2153108

A leading construction consultancy in Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to strengthen their established Project Management team. The successful Senior Project Manager will have the autonomy to lead projects while benefiting from the support of an experienced wider team.

The Senior Project Manager will take projects from initial briefing and design through procurement, construction and completion. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can confidently lead consultant teams, manage client relationships and maintain control of programme, risk and project delivery. This would suit a Senior Project Manager looking for greater responsibility and a clear route towards Associate level.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of construction projects, acting as a key point of contact for clients and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities will include establishing project strategies and programmes, managing procurement, overseeing design development, identifying and mitigating risk, chairing project meetings, monitoring progress and providing clear reporting to clients.

You will also have opportunities to support junior Project Managers and contribute to the continued development of the wider Project Management team.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
• A proven track record managing projects independently
• Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Strong knowledge of programme, procurement, risk and project reporting
• Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams
• A relevant construction, property or Project Management degree
• Ideally MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB or another recognised professional qualification
• The confidence to mentor junior colleagues and take ownership of complex projects
