We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want to gain valuable, hands-on classroom experience before progressing into teaching, educational psychology, SEN, pastoral support or another career working with children.

The role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you may be:

• Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
• Helping pupils with Maths, English and other classroom activities
• Supporting children who need additional academic or emotional support
• Working alongside the class teacher to raise engagement and confidence
• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Who we're looking for:

We'd love to hear from graduates who:

• Hold a degree in any relevant subject
• Are enthusiastic about working with primary-aged children
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Are patient, proactive and confident
• Ideally have experience working with children through schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, childcare or volunteering
• Are considering a future career in teaching or education

Previous school experience is advantageous, but we are also interested in graduates with transferable experience working with children or young people.
