Payroll Specialist - #2156576

We are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy finance team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll data including starters, leavers, sickness, maternity and employee changes.
• Manage payroll using Sage Payroll, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Complete manual calculations and produce payroll reports.
• Process HMRC updates, tax codes, student loans and third-party deductions.
• Maintain pension records and ensure contributions are processed correctly.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers.
• Work closely with HR and the Payroll Manager to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Previous payroll administration experience.
• Good understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
• Sage Payroll experience is desirable.
• Strong Excel and general IT skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• CIPP qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
