Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking for more than just another service role? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and ambitious business that's investing heavily in its people, technology and future growth.

Working across a diverse range of commercial or industrial environments, you'll be involved in everything from fault-finding and reactive maintenance through to installations, commissioning and specialist refrigeration projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
  • Diagnose faults and identify effective and efficient solutions.
  • Complete refrigeration installations and commissioning activities where required.
  • Work on a range of commercial refrigeration equipment and systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in accordance with relevant industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other site personnel.
  • Represent the company positively while working on customer sites.
  • Work independently while contributing effectively as part of the wider engineering team.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge as new technologies, systems and refrigerants are introduced.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer.
  • Relevant refrigeration / RACHP qualifications.
  • Current F-Gas certification.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
  • Practical experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Professional approach to customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and quality.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • CO refrigeration systems.
  • Ammonia refrigeration.
  • Low-GWP refrigerants.
  • Large commercial or industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Cold rooms and freezer rooms.
  • Retail refrigeration.
  • Cold stores and distribution centres.
  • Food production and manufacturing environments.
  • Planned preventative maintenance contracts.
  • Refrigeration installation and commissioning.
