Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

  • Establish a safe, high-trust classroom environment built on mutual respect and positive behaviour.

  • Track and evaluate pupil progress using formative assessment data to adapt daily planning.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants to support pupils with SEND and EAL requirements.

  • Maintain open, constructive communication with parents, carers, and external support services.

Requirements for the Role
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK recognised teaching qualification.

  • Proven experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (ECTs are encouraged to apply).

  • Up-to-date knowledge of primary pedagogical practices, curriculum standards, and safeguarding.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
