- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation.
- Drafting tax computations.
- Working with a diverse client base, including businesses with turnovers ranging from approximately £10m to £300m.
The role is predominantly audit-focused, with around 80% of your time spent on audit and 20% on accounts.
What are they looking for?
- Experience working within an accountancy practice, ideally an independent firm.
- Around 2–3 years' relevant experience, although the quality of your experience is just as important as the number of years.
- Exposure to audit and accounts preparation.
- Someone keen to develop their technical ability and take on increasing responsibility.
- A team player who enjoys working in a friendly, collaborative environment.
The benefits
- Salary of £27,000–£30,000.
